A continuation from where I left off yesterday: writing, recording and placing the computer voice parts for the middle and end sections of Automaton. With the intro voice already in place I also reorganised the entrance into the track, having the organ fade in later to leave the arpeggiated synth to start everything off.

Some time was also dedicated to mixing the computer voice, which includes a trippy aux-track delay – reminiscent of that used on the voice parts in Boards of Canada's 'Transmisiones Ferox' – that is applied gradually to the voice parts as the track fades out.

With the computer voice part now in place there is one last significant part to deal with: solo saxophone. In the end I want this to be recorded from a live source, but in the meantime it would be useful to sketch it out in MIDI. I'm hopeful of getting more studio time tomorrow, so will start on it then.
