Thndrcr, not enough time
Following a run of good CreativePact days it was inevitable that a troubled one would rear its head. Today was that day, with the result being named Thndrcr.
The issue this time around was down to a short session duration, and I felt the effects of it straight away – when selecting a sample, setting its loop point and exploring its sonic potential I was aware of the need to move on, and by session's end the idea had not been developed sufficiently to maintain my creative interest.
I got as far as adding drum and bass parts before time ran out, but to be honest I was scratching my head where to go next with this one. I'm thinking I may revisit the same sample tomorrow with a fresh perspective and a bit more time.
