Continuing on from yesterday's double-part-but-unmixed situation, today I finished the job. There are now two mixed parts where there would have been two mixed parts if I had stuck to the process established previously anyway.

I started with the NotSax synth, effecting with filter, delay and distortion to lead to a pleasing Amiga-era portamentoed outcome. The part was Instrument Racked to allow the riff in the higher register to have its own voices and effects chain. To finish, a compressor key-chained to the bass drum of KitElectric was placed in the Rack's main FX path.

The bass came next, this time with threshold-triggered band-pass filter (running at 50/50 dry/wet) and distortion again. Like the last session I worked in a stripped-down Live Set and transferred the results to the main Set upon completion.
